A Day at the Beach

Did you know Evanston has a beach? Neither did I until last night. 

My childrens' bedroom is a beach, complete with ocean (beds) and sand (floor)!  We spent last night and all day today playing at the beach.  The kids dressed in their swimming suits (soups, according to Jesse) and jumped in the ocean.

My favorite thing about being a stay-at-home mom is experiencing all the growing moments my children are having.  I know if I was working yesterday we never would have discovered the beach.

Here they are in the basement dancing around in their swimming "soups." This is also the playroom, hence the mess.
