Our little Breyan is now two months old! Time sure is flying by. She's been smiling for the last few weeks, unless there's a camera around so we haven't been able to document it yet. We also (finally) moved her into her own room, well, actually the guest room until she's sleeping longer at night and can share a room with her brother. I guess that means we need to get working on the basement! Since moving out of Mom and Dad's room, Breyan has been sleeping for 6-8 hour stretches at night, which is such a blessing since Mom is working again. She's also growing like crazy and is already wearing some of her 3-6 month outfits. Jesse loves holding Bree's hand when they are in the car and she's crying. She's lucky to have such a wonderful older brother and we are all very blessed to have this sweet little girl in our family.
Breyan likes taking baths and has curly hair when it's wet- quite a shock to her straight-haired parents, but a pleasant one. She likes to watch people and is very alert. She's also strong and can already lift and turn her head while on her tummy. She loves sitting in Mom or Dad's lap and watching Jesse play. You can tell she's soaking in everything she possibly can about her world. She "talks" too, more than Jesse ever did at this age. Mom has too much fun dressing her up in all the cute outfits from friends and family. Everyone was very excited about the little Barger granddaughter and spoiled her! Breyan also has a new little cousin, Millie, who is only 1 1/2 months younger than her, and two neighbor girls (one 2 weeks older, and one 2 weeks younger) so she won't be alone at family gatherings, church, or school! She's also going to have 2 more cousins next year- another Crummett boy and a TBA Barger. These kids are lucky to have so many close cousins!
She'll be making the dreaded trip to the doctor for shots and measurements this week so I'll probably post again, with pictures.
